Classic Chili:

Serves 2-4
Recipe
Method
1       Pound Ground Beef

1/2     Large Yellow Onion (Chopped)  

2       Garlic Cloves(Diced)

1       Can Dark Red Kidney Beans

1       Can Light Red Kidney Beans

1       Can Tomato Sauce (14.5oz)

1       Can Diced Tomatoes(28oz)

1       Can Crushed Tomatoes(28oz)

1tsp    Salt

1tsp    Pepper

1tsp    Onion Powder

1tsp    Garlic Powder

1       Bay Leaf

2Tbs  Rae & Ryan's Chili Powder 
        (apx .5 oz)
Brown the beef with
the onion and garlic
until the meat is
cooked and the onions are clear.
Drain excess fat
Add the meat, half the
chili powder, and all remaining
ingredients into a slow cooker.
Cook on low and stir occasionally
for 4+ hours. Taste and adjust
flavors towards the end.
More salt, Chili Powder, Garlic
Powder, and Onion Powder are
usually needed to balance the dish.
Start conservatively with
seasonings and adjust after
everything has had a chance
to meld together.
